What better way to inspire myself than to create a new category on my blog? ‘Cause there’s only so much I can talk about sensuality, love and paranormal creatures. Or writing for that matter (though I suspect a rant or two may slip into this category).
And dear God (or deity of your choice), I’ve promised myself I’ll write four blog entries a month. Naturally I’ve not done anything and it’s the end of March. This is following the great (and I believe worldwide) tradition of ‘Leaving Things ’til the Last Minute’.
I feel a certain obligation to those who (bless their little cotton socks) regularly read my posts. AND… I’m determined to NEVER be one of those people who make the obvious statement/apology that they haven’t written a post for a while. N0 SH!TE Sherlock! We wondered why there was nothing new – thought maybe Aliens had been abducting your posts for some sort of probing – though one hopes it would be of the literary sort.
It being appropriately close to the last minute I shall now post like some animal that does repeated and weird behaviour. David Attenborough where are you when I need you?! With your fascinating mannerisms and interest in all things organic.
Actually I have the regular, and hilariously funny posts from Liana, http://crummynovels.wordpress.com/ for galvanising me into action this month. Just don’t drink anything while reading her stuff – not good when you spit liquid at your computer…
P.S. Why do cotton socks need blessing? Is it because they’re not nylon and therefore less sweaty?
You are too kind 🙂 I too am also a Last Minute Loyalist, despite my best intentions…we’ll team up with the procrastinators and take over the world…tomorrow… 😉
Why do it tomorrow… when we can do it next week? Lol!
I’ve been trying to come up with a category scheme for myself — cataloging my various entries. It’s been a challenge for me.
I use to try the four times a month approach, but if i don’t do it daily — I can’t do it. I think it’s my own chaotic self. I either have to tie myself down, or just not do it.
Enjoyed the thoughts,
D
